Insulation

Furnace linings may be engineering by Prestige Thermal Equipment of either conventiona conditions of which the lining has to operate l refractory materials, low thermal mass insulating materials or a combination of both. Our advice and ultimate supply would depend upon the conditions of which the lining has to operate within. Prestige Thermal Equipment are well placed to complete re-lines of existing equipment and/or modification of conventional refractory lined furnaces to low thermal mass when cyclic operation will provide for an early pay back of the re-lining cost due to savings in energy consumption.

Our Supply Includes :

Dense Castables
A range suitable for applications from 1150 C. All products are manufactured from virgin raw materials, and exhibit good refractory properties.

Insulation Castables
A comprehensive range, including medium to ultra-low density products, suitable for hot face and “back up” areas.

Refractory Cements
Dry or ready mixed. Heat and air setting versions readily available.

Mouldables
A range suitable for all general repairs.

Fireclay and Ganister
A general purpose fireclay is available from stock. Ganister is also offered in carbon form.

Firebricks
From 34% to 98% alumina. All standard sizes available. Special shapes can also be supplied given sufficient notice.

Insulation bricks.
A full range for ‘back up' and hot face applications from 950C to 1870C

Ceramic Fibre Products
Available as blanket, board, paper, rope, loose bales and pre-formed shapes. Also includes riser sleeves, exothermic and insulating.

Pre-Cast Shapes
Our facilities enable us to supply a complete range of shapes to your requirements.
